2. Hosting and Technical Services
The website is hosted by:
Vercel Inc.
440 N Barranca Avenue #4133
Covina, CA 91723
United States
Provider information and assistance are available at vercel.com and Vercel Help.
Supporting providers include Supabase, Cloudflare, Mailgun, and Stripe. Assisted job imports may use OpenAI to classify listing information. These providers do not act as employers or make hiring decisions through our website.
3. Scope and Orders
These Terms cover visitors, candidates, recruiters, and organizations using JobCroissant. Organizational representatives must have authority to act and purchase on their organization’s behalf.
JobCroissant is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old and have reached the legal age of majority in your place of residence to use our services.
The applicable offer, checkout details, accepted quotation, and order confirmation define each purchase. A specifically agreed written term takes priority over a conflicting general provision. Mandatory legal protections always prevail.
4. Our Role
We operate a specialist job board for bakers, pastry chefs, cake artists, and bakery professionals in the United States. We are not the employer, a party to an employment agreement, or a guarantor of a recruiter’s identity, vacancy, qualifications, or conduct.
Listings may be submitted by recruiters or imported from employer sources. Review and moderation reduce risk but cannot identify every error or scam. Featured logos, search categories, and geographic pages do not certify an employer or imply its endorsement of our service.
We do not promise applications, interviews, or hiring outcomes. Our specific credit-back commitment in Section 13 remains applicable, as do our own contractual and legal responsibilities.
5. Accounts and Organizations
Provide accurate information, keep credentials confidential, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. Do not impersonate another person or organization. You remain responsible for actions you authorize, without automatically becoming liable for every unauthorized use regardless of its cause.
Recruiter billing and credits belong to the purchasing organization. Organization members must use them only with appropriate authority. Account access does not establish ownership of an employer’s name, brand, or content.
6. Candidate Services and Applications
Candidate accounts, saved jobs, and job alerts are free. Saved resumes are private and are not a public recruiter database. Applications currently go to the employer’s website or email address; clicking Apply does not automatically send your stored resume.
Check the employer’s requirements, application deadline, and privacy notice. The employer controls selection and recruitment communications. Alert matching is based on your criteria and does not guarantee suitability or delivery of every relevant opportunity. Alert definitions are automatically deleted during scheduled cleanup once they are more than six calendar months old.
7. Recruitment Fraud and Candidate Safety
Verify the recruiter. Independently locate the employer’s official website and hiring contact, check the email domain, and confirm the vacancy and representative. Logos, social profiles, video interviews, and apparent seniority can be forged, including with impersonation or deepfakes.
Protect money and accounts. JobCroissant will never ask you to pay to apply for a job on an external website. If an external website, recruiter, or other person asks you to pay to submit an application, refuse immediately, do not proceed with the payment, and report the listing to jobcroissant@rolework.com, including its URL or reference. We do not reimburse payments made to third parties to apply for a job or losses caused by recruitment scams, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Do not pay a recruiter to unlock a job, buy equipment from a designated seller under pressure, forward money or parcels, cash an overpayment check, or deposit funds into cryptocurrency or “task” schemes. Verify genuine visa or regulatory fees directly with the relevant authority; these are distinct from fees to submit a job application.
Protect documents and confidential information. Never share passwords, one-time codes, or remote access to your device. Verify the recipient and recruitment stage before sending identity, bank, tax, or immigration documents. Be cautious about fake job offers, misleading training promises, excessive unpaid trial work, and requests for proprietary recipes or confidential information.
If something seems suspicious, stop the exchange, preserve evidence, and report the listing to us. Contact your bank promptly if money or payment details are involved and report suspected crime to the appropriate authorities. You are responsible for verifying employers and job opportunities, deciding where to apply, and choosing what information to share. JobCroissant does not endorse or guarantee an employer or job opportunity by displaying a listing. Our responsibility for third-party job listings, recruitment fraud, payments to third parties, and your dealings with employers is subject to the exclusions, limitations, and mandatory exceptions in Section 19.
8. Recruiter Responsibilities
Advertise genuine, lawful vacancies that you are authorized to represent. Keep the employer identity, employment type, job duties, work schedule, compensation statements, location, working arrangements, deadlines, and application route accurate. Agencies must have the employer’s authorization.
Comply with applicable employment, nondiscrimination, privacy, intellectual-property, and advertising laws. Do not misrepresent an apprenticeship, unpaid trial, unpaid role, or independent contract as salaried employment. Promptly correct material errors and close or update withdrawn and filled positions.
9. Post a Job and Posting Credits
One credit publishes one approved vacancy for 49 days. You can buy a single credit or a pack, then use your organization’s available balance when submitting a vacancy through Post a Job. For example, a five-credit pack covers five separate postings, each with its own 49-day publication period. You may use them together or over time.
Credits become available after payment is confirmed. Submitting a vacancy may reserve one credit; approval consumes it. If publication is rejected or the submission is withdrawn before consumption, the reservation is released. Payment does not guarantee approval of unlawful or unsuitable content.
Unused credits never expire. They remain with the purchasing organization on JobCroissant and can be used by its authorized recruiters. They cannot be transferred outside that organization or to another site, have no cash value, and do not pay for Automated Job Posting unless expressly agreed in writing.
Editing a published vacancy does not use another credit or restart its publication period. Replacing it with a different role, or publishing it again for a new period, requires a new credit. Early closure does not normally restore a consumed credit; the Apply-click credit-back commitment in Section 13 and mandatory remedies remain available where applicable.
10. Included Promotion
Listings purchased with a credit are republished on our LinkedIn page with promotional text and included in email alerts for candidates whose selected criteria match. Public listings are made eligible for Google for Jobs where the applicable technical requirements are met.
Third-party platforms control indexing, display, ranking, and availability. We cannot guarantee social reach, search placement, email readership, or application volume. Public promotion uses listing content and employer branding, not private candidate resumes.
11. Prices, Payment, and Invoicing
The standard single-posting price is USD 149 before applicable taxes. Orders are billed in USD. Available credit-pack quantities, discounts, and the total payable are shown in the applicable offer or checkout. Currency conversion or bank charges imposed by your provider remain your responsibility.
We accept Stripe card payments and bank transfers. Card orders are paid upfront. Bank transfer invoices are payable within 30 days, unless an expressly agreed or mandatory term applies. Usable credits are granted only after payment is confirmed.
An authorized administrator may exceptionally approve one reviewed job for publication before its bank transfer invoice is paid. This grants no advance credit balance. Unpaid publication may be suspended; later payment does not automatically resume it or restart or extend its publication period.
For French business transactions where applicable, late-payment interest accrues from the day after the due date at the statutory ECB reference rate plus ten percentage points, using the relevant January 1 or July 1 reference. A €40 recovery indemnity applies per overdue invoice, with documented additional recovery costs where legally recoverable. Mandatory public-sector or other special rules prevail.
12. Cancellations and Refunds
There is no refund for a change of mind after a posting has been published. Unused purchased credits remain available without expiry. Contact us promptly about duplicate payments, order errors, cancellation before publication, or services not provided; the appropriate remedy depends on the circumstances and applicable rights.
Nothing excludes mandatory withdrawal, refund, or other protections available to an eligible consumer or small professional. Early performance does not itself waive a statutory withdrawal right; any legally required request, information, and acknowledgment must be obtained separately.
13. Apply-Click Credit Back
If a vacancy purchased with a credit receives fewer than five recorded Apply clicks during its 49-day publication period, we will return one posting credit to the same organization after checking the listing and our records.
Contact us with the job URL or reference after the publication period. This is a credit for another posting, not a cash refund or a promise of five applications, unique candidates, qualified responses, or an eventual hire.
Eligibility requires the underlying order to be paid. Each original posting can receive this credit back only once. Automated Job Posting is excluded unless your written agreement includes it. If a listing ended early or was interrupted, contact us for review of the actual circumstances rather than assuming an automatic award.
We use recorded Apply-button interactions, which may include repeat clicks and may be affected by technical limitations or invalid traffic. Manipulated activity is not a basis for entitlement. We will consider substantiated counting errors in good faith.
14. Automated Job Posting
Automated Job Posting is a customized subscription managed in collaboration with your recruitment team. It is separate from manual posting credits. Before starting, we agree on your employer source, the vacancies to include, publication capacity, price, and any specific service commitments. Standard scope covers one source, one company, and JobCroissant; additional scope requires agreement.
We agree on selection criteria together. These may concern job categories, employment types, experience levels, work schedules, locations, or other information available in your source. We then map the relevant fields from your careers website, recruitment system, or agreed feed to JobCroissant so we can retrieve and classify matching vacancies.
We use reasonable care to apply the agreed criteria as accurately as the source allows. Incomplete information, ambiguous job descriptions, or source changes may lead to a missed vacancy or an incorrect match. We work with you to review these cases and refine the mapping; the service is not a guarantee of perfect or real-time matching.
Capacity is the number of jobs published at the same time. For example, a capacity of 20 allows up to 20 live vacancies under the subscription. As jobs close or expire, space becomes available for other selected vacancies. This is not a monthly allowance of 20 new postings, and imported jobs do not consume your manual credits.
If matching vacancies exceed your capacity, we agree with you which jobs to prioritize or whether to increase capacity. We do not increase your subscription price without your agreement. Unused capacity does not create credits or reduce the agreed fee.
You can request exceptions at any time. Email jobcroissant@rolework.com to ask us to include a particular vacancy outside the usual criteria, or remove one you do not want displayed even though it matches. We review and apply these adjustments within the agreed capacity and lawful posting requirements. A one-off exception does not change the general criteria unless we agree to do so.
Standard setup and remapping are included within the agreed scope, subject to source compatibility. Nonstandard work or additional charges require prior agreement. You must be authorized to provide the source and its content, maintain the necessary access, and notify us of changes. Do not include candidate personal data in vacancy feeds.
15. Ongoing Service and Cancellation
Automated Job Posting is an ongoing working relationship: you can contact us to discuss matching, priorities, specific vacancies, or changes to your recruitment needs. Imports and adjustments involve administrative review. Unless expressly agreed, they do not run continuously or in real time, and source outages, access restrictions, or format changes can delay updates.
A vacancy that disappears from your source may require review before removal from JobCroissant. Contact us whenever a job needs to be removed or corrected rather than relying solely on the next import.
You may cancel at any time, including if you are dissatisfied with the service. The authorized billing contact can use the available subscription controls or email jobcroissant@rolework.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current monthly service period. That month remains payable, with no prorated refund for a change of mind, and no subsequent month is charged.
This means the current subscription month, measured from your monthly service anniversary, rather than necessarily the calendar month. If you have prepaid for later months, the unused balance covering those months is refunded. Mandatory remedies for a service not provided remain available.
Deleting an account or canceling a payment card does not cancel the subscription. After service ends, no new jobs are imported; already published jobs may remain visible until their normal expiry unless you ask us to remove them sooner.
Capacity or service changes are agreed with you, including their price and effective date. We give advance notice of material price or service changes for renewal so you can decide whether to continue.
16. Content Rights and Acceptable Use
You retain rights in content you supply and confirm that you may authorize its use. You grant us a nonexclusive license to host, format, reproduce, and distribute public listings and employer branding as needed to deliver the service and agreed promotion, including through technical providers and international platforms.
This license lasts only as needed for those purposes, with limited retention for legal records, backups, and pre-existing third-party copies. It does not authorize public distribution of private resumes. Our software, design, and original materials remain protected.
Bulk extraction or republication requires authorization, subject to mandatory legal exceptions and legitimate search indexing. You must not create, upload, publish, submit, or link to prohibited content through our services, including in job listings, employer profiles, messages, documents, or external application pages. Prohibited content and conduct include racism; xenophobia; antisemitism; Islamophobia; other religious hatred; sexism; misogyny; homophobia; biphobia; transphobia; ableism; discriminatory abuse based on age, race, color, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or any other legally protected characteristic; discriminatory or unlawful hiring criteria; harassment; bullying; stalking; threats; incitement to hatred or violence; promotion of terrorism or violent extremism; human trafficking; exploitation; child sexual abuse material; nonconsensual intimate images; sexual harassment; unlawful sexual content; defamation; impersonation; identity theft; fraud; phishing; scams; extortion; doxxing; unauthorized disclosure of personal or confidential information; copyright or trademark infringement; spam; malicious links; malware; ransomware; bypassing access controls; unauthorized access to systems; scraping personal data; manipulation of statistics; interference with the service; and any other content or conduct that violates applicable law.
17. Reports, Moderation, and Account Closure
Report suspected scams, unlawful content, impersonation, or rights violations by email, identifying the relevant URL, facts, and supporting evidence. We may request clarification, investigate, correct or remove content, and restrict access where justified. Contact us to request review of a moderation decision.
We may suspend service for serious breaches, security threats, unlawful activity, or nonpayment. We give reasons and an opportunity to resolve the issue where appropriate; urgent protective action may be immediate.
Account closure does not automatically cancel a subscription, erase unpaid obligations, or forfeit valid unused credits. We will address remaining entitlements and any mandatory remedies according to the reason for closure. Information may remain where legally required.
18. Privacy and Service Availability
Our Privacy Policy explains personal-data handling, cookies, statistics, and your rights. Employers independently receiving applications must provide their own lawful recruitment notices and safeguards. Necessary account, security, and billing communications are distinct from optional alerts.
We exercise reasonable care in operating the service but cannot promise uninterrupted access or error-free third-party systems. Maintenance, network incidents, and provider failures may cause interruptions. A force majeure event must meet applicable legal requirements; an ordinary supplier outage is not automatically exempt. Remedies for a paid service not provided remain available.
19. Responsibility and Third-Party Claims
Each party is responsible for loss attributable to its own breach or legally actionable conduct. JobCroissant does not operate or control independent external employer websites, application portals, or other third-party services linked from listings. A link does not constitute approval of their content, security, or practices. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for losses or damage caused by hacking, cyberattacks, malware, phishing, recruitment scams, or unlawful content encountered on or through those external websites or services, or for an employer’s hiring decisions or conduct. When you independently submit personal data, documents, or payment information to an external employer or other operator, that recipient is responsible for its own collection, use, storage, disclosure, and security of the information. Review its identity, terms, and privacy notice before sharing anything. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for, and do not reimburse or compensate, losses resulting from payments to those third parties or from their misuse, unauthorized disclosure, loss, theft, or compromise of information you provide to them. These exclusions do not remove our obligations for data we process or for service providers acting on our behalf, and are subject to the mandatory liability exceptions below.
For business customers, liability for indirect losses, such as lost business opportunities or anticipated profits, is excluded only to the extent permitted by law. No clause excludes our liability for our own fraud or gross negligence, personal injury, violations of mandatory data protection or consumer rights, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited, nor deprives an essential obligation of its substance.
A business customer is responsible, to the extent established under applicable law, for documented third-party claims caused by its unauthorized content or its own breach. This does not extend to our fault. The parties will promptly notify each other of relevant claims, preserve evidence, and reasonably cooperate; neither may impose an admission or settlement on the other without agreement.
20. Business Transfers and Legal Disputes
If the service is transferred through a merger, acquisition, or business sale, we will preserve existing contractual obligations and accrued credits, provide required notice, and obtain consent where legally necessary. A transfer does not itself authorize the removal of purchased entitlements.
French law governs these Terms, without displacing mandatory protections applicable in another jurisdiction. Contact us with your order or account reference to seek a practical resolution. This is not a prerequisite to urgent relief, reporting a crime, or exercising a mandatory right.
Jurisdiction follows applicable legal rules. These Terms do not impose exclusive courts on candidates, public institutions, or other customers where such a clause would be unlawful.
21. Changes and General Provisions
Last updated: September 29, 2026. The version accepted for an order governs that order unless a lawful change is agreed or required. We provide appropriate notice of material changes affecting ongoing services and obtain further acceptance where necessary. Updates do not retrospectively remove purchased credits or accrued credit-back rights.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues where legally possible. Delayed enforcement does not itself waive a right. These Terms create no employment, agency, partnership, or joint venture between Rolework and a user.
