JobCroissant's Take
This part-time Cafe Counter Clerk role at Ever'man Cooperative in Pensacola offers a solid entry point for candidates who value artisanal food culture, customer interaction, and steady practical experience in a community-focused setting. The position emphasizes hands-on tasks like maintaining case displays, prepping bakery and Grab & Go items, and preparing juices and sandwiches, which is great for those who want to practice fast, consistent production and learn safe food handling and deli workflows.
The listed pay of $14–$15/hour, along with employee discount and paid training and time off, makes this a respectable hourly role for part-time work, especially for people building skills in food service or organic-minded retail. The cooperative environment, focus on natural and organic foods, and teamwork with Shift Coordinators suggest good opportunities to learn about quality ingredients, organization, and departmental operations. For a candidate seeking flexible hours, regular training, and hands-on daily craft in a local, values-driven business, this could be a strong fit.
